Welcome

I am a Computer System Engineer and a Master in Computer Modeling. I concluded my undergraduate course in Computer System Engineering at Instituto Politecnico Jose Antonio Echevarria (ISPJAE), Havana/ Cuba in 1994. From this same year until 1999, I worked developing database computer systems. During this period I acquired an extensive experience in the design, analysis, development and maintenance for Data Base Computer System using Access, Visual Basic, FoxPro, dBase and Clipper.

In 1999 I moved to Brazil, where I attended a Master’s course in Computer Modeling at Universidade do Estado do Rio de Janeiro (UERJ). From a research project on computer graphics I developed my master’s thesis on Tomographic Image Processing. In this same year, I started working part-time in TECGRAF-PUC-Rio (Computer Graphics Technology Group), an institution created to develop, establish, and maintain computer graphics and user interface software for technical and scientific applications. In this establishment I worked in a naval project as a VC++ and Lua programmer developing visual interfaces to Prea3d software.

In August/2002 I started to work for SCS-FSU as a research assistant with Dr. David Banks.

In October/2004 I started to work for Morphbank project.

Research interests:
