REU 2001 Schedule

For the first week (and a little of the second), there will be a series of talks to introduce scientific computing and the computational tools to be used. A set of mini-projects will be given on the first and second days. The participants divide informally into small groups, and work on a few of these mini_projects, with the help of the mentors. A presentation of the results will be made at the end of the week. During the introductory week, there will also be presentations on the large scale projects. At the end of this introductory period, the students will begin work on the large scale projects that will occupy them the rest of the summer.
